This year, SPbCU celebrated its 25th anniversary! The celebration of the 25th anniversary of SPbCU began with a solemn service. Rector Valeriy Alexandrovich Alikin has shared his vision about the development of the University, spoke about distance education, infrastructure development, the continuation and development of the scientific and publishing activities.

This year, SPbCU celebrated its 25th anniversary!
The celebration of the 25th anniversary of SPbCU began with a solemn service. Rector Valeriy Alexandrovich Alikin has shared his vision about the development of the University, spoke about distance education, infrastructure development, the continuation and development of the scientific and publishing activities.

The best teacher of the year was awarded in a solemn ceremony and special guests of honor were awarded special diplomas for contribution to the development of the university

On the second day, Peter F. Penner, one of the former rectors of SPbCU, delivered a lecture on «The University and The Reformation». Also, during the celebration, it was announced the beginning of cooperation with the Liberty University, one of the largest Christian schools in the world.

Celebration ended with a prayer, thanksgiving to God and the ceremonial blowing out of candles on a celebratory cake!
