A new beginning for a new year!
On January 22nd the first meeting of faculty and students was held in the main building of our university which was timed to the beginning of the academic year and the feast of the “Baptism of the Lord”. John the Baptist urged people to repent (rethink their actions, admit sins, and start a new life based on the commandments). Repentance means changing the way one thinks, that is to say, looking at life in a new way. The purpose of the event was to remind ourselves of the essence of the holiday so that its main meaning is displayed in relation to life and our actions.

Ahead of the new semester (a new and important stage in life), this time is not only for gaining knowledge and successful study, but for spiritual transformation as well. Faced with various circumstances, temptations, and challenges, we have an excellent opportunity, in practical life, to make the right choice, to act in a new way, and to have new results. Showing love for our neighbors, we are able to be attentive and sensitive to fellow students and colleagues, in addition to supporting and showing compassion to each other.
