First Year Bachelor of Youth/Pastoral Ministry Program

I am 17 years old and I graduated from high school this past spring. I have a small family: father, mother, sister (13), and myself. My family became believers together with me a year and half ago. In this short time, God has greatly changed my life and the lives of everyone in my family.

I lived in sin like others in the world who don't know God. But praise God! He has chosen me, saved me, given me forgiveness, and allowed me to follow after Him and get to know Him and His will. He has give me peace, mercy, grace, and has filled me with His love. He opened my eyes and I saw the sin I was living in. But now He will never leave me. He leads me, directs me, perfects me, instructs me, and teaches me.

I am getting a theological education in order to: learn the Holy Scriptures and know how to interpret them accurately by learning the original languages, get to know God more deeply, bring the Word of God to others and tell them about God, and finally, dedicate myself completely to God.

I really want to serve God and fulfill my calling to do God's will. I want to preach and bring the Word of God to people. At the present, I carry out the worship ministry in my church. God has endowed me with this gift and I am very grateful for it. I want to have a worship band (to start one up), and if it is God's will, to have a big urban church. One of my callings is to praise my God and Savior and I know that God has put great potential in me and is unleashing this according to how much I am advancing in my faith.
