Graduation of the International Program Students

Four young people participating in the program this year: three from Canada and one from the U.S. During the fall semester, they became acquainted with Russian culture, history and art, as well as acquired knowledge of Russian. The International Program facilitates contacts between students from Russia and North America during their education as students live together on campus of SPbCU.
At the assembly meeting on December 17th, students of the international program expressed their gratitude to all those who participated in their training and stay in Russia. They told us how amazing their stay was in Russia. The first thing that made an impression on all students was the hospitality. Parting was in tears and with great joy and hope for further dialogue, at least via the Internet.
The general meeting ended with the presentation of memorabilia and certificates of completion of the international program. After tea, the students demonstrated their knowledge of Russian language in several skits. It was amazing how quickly students could learn to speak Russian.
SPbCU is pleased to continue to see students from different countries on the international program to make every effort to increase international partnership.
