Pavel Anatolievich Tokarchuk
he is the pastor's assistant and leads the services for young people. He is also one of the leaders in the association called "Spiritual Revival."
In 1993, Pavel Anatolievich considered theological education to be vitally necessary. This was the main factor which influenced his decision to study in a Christian educational institution; he wanted to get new knowledge for future efficient service. When asked how studying in SPbCU influenced his personal and spiritual development, Pavel Anatolievich answered: "I grew up and became strong in this school. When I entered the university, spiritually I was a baby, but when I graduated I was almost a grown-up. It was a school of life. We not only studied theological subjects, read books and wrote works, but we passed through a period of life with Christians with different characters and traditions. We studied how to work with your personality, to help others, to listen and hear the needs of others even in difficult situations. It was really useful for me. Spiritual development took place as God showed that He is always with us. When we lived in St. Petersburg, we prayed for God's work in us and for formulation to be good servants of His word."
When asked about the practical knowledge that he obtained at SPbCU and it's usefulness, Pavel Anatolievich answered: "Of course it came in handy. A lot of information on the interpretation of God's word and the preparation of sermons are vital even now in my service. Leadership skills, which I developed at SPbCU, are very useful in communication with people. To be a new type of leader is really useful."
